5566 - Hematite - $100.00
Bouse, La Paz County, Arizona
Miniature, 3.2 x 3.0 x 2.0 cm
 

This is a very nice piece for the location, and was a gift from Bern Swarts back in April 1976.



5688 - Pyrite - $50.00 
Huallanca, Peru
Miniature, 3.4 x 2.7 x 2.1 cm

Nice one for the location, how ever it does have some damage as can be seen in the photos. Puchased from Volunteers for Minerals in October 1982.  



0200 - Apophyllite - $50.00 
Poona (now called Pune), India
Small Cabinet, 7.5 x 9.7 x 3.0 cm

This piece was obtained from John Sinkankas in April 1973, and was among some of the first finds to come out of India  Nice older materal and does have some broken crystals.   



5517 - Adamite - $150.00

Small Cabinet, 6.0 x 7.5 x 7.0 cm

This piece was obtained from Hank Cyr in July 1973.  All of the crystals are well formed, and have no apparent damage. Size of main group is 3.2 x 3.0 cm.

This piece was obtained at the Escondido Gem Show in March 1973.   This is a nice older piece for the location, but does have some damage as seen in the photos.

Nice single crystal and very clear. The photos do not show the clearness very well.

Per Mindat.org the correct location is Sierra de la Cruz, Mun. de Sierra Mojada, Coahuila, Mexico and has a very interesting history write up.

This piece was obtained in April 1972. Nice for the location and rare on the market today in this size..

0435 - Azurite - $750.00

Small Cabinet, 5.0 x 7.0 x 2.5 cm


This piece was obtained from Sewards Minerals in the 1970's. This is a large single crystal and is a very old piece. As can been seen in the photos there is either a broken or contacted crystal area. If not for this issue this piece would be for sale at a much high price.

This is from the finds in the late 1970's, and was bought from a gem dealer at the San Diego Gemboree.  Very nice for the location at the time it was mined but does have some chipping along the edges.

This piece was obtained from Bill Larson in July 1972.  Nice for the location for the time it was mined, but does have some damage to it.

This piece was obtained from Fraziers Minerals at the Pasadena Show in November 1974. Very nice and uusually crystal form.
